Attorney Rui-Ping Hu is currently licensed to practice law in both New York State, USA, and Taiwan. While studying at Cornell Law School, Attorney Hu was selected to participate in immigration law research under renowned U.S. immigration law scholar Randel Johnson due to her in-depth study of immigration regulations. The research focused on the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) and involved comprehensive analysis of past cases from the Office of the Chief Administrative Hearing Officer (OCAHO), synthesizing how administrative agencies apply immigration laws in practice and identifying gaps in existing regulations.
